The Last Show - Limited Edition Print
There’s nothing more magical than a foggy woodland in full autumn colour. I had been monitoring this grove of beech trees for couple of weeks, as the long-range weather forecasts were looking promising for the kind of conditions I was looking for. The layers of leaves in the foreground provides the explosion of colour that comes right before canopies start to shed their leaves in vast quantities. At the same time, the subtle layers of colour created by the fog add beautiful depth to the scene that is complemented by the natural fall-off in depth of field.
Print details
This image is printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm paper. This is a heavyweight paper and has a slightly warm-white base tone, as well as a strong mottled texture. It creates prints with strong colours and deep blacks.
Edition
It’s part of a limited edition run of 30 at 14 x 11in, 15 at 20 x 16in and 5 special editions at 36 x 29in. Bespoke sizes, larger than 36 x 29in, are available for the 5 special edition prints in each edition - please enquire directly.
